Burgalhau Beach
Considered one of the most beautiful in the region, it has packed sand, coconut trees, a clear sea dotted with reefs and mangroves. It is located four kilometers from the village.

With its clear sands, idyllic sea, and gentle waves, Burgalhau shares the same scenery as other beaches in the region, but is considered by some visitors to be one of the best beaches in Maragogi. In addition to the coconut trees and reefs visible at low tide, a river mouth also forms on this beach.
The beach doesn't have much infrastructure, and if you don't intend to use the establishments by the sea, we recommend bringing chairs and umbrellas to sit on.

Japaratinga Beach
Japaratinga is Maragogi's lesser-known neighbor. Japaratinga beach shares the same characteristics as its neighbor: emerald green sea, many coconut trees, and natural pools.

Japaratinga is 10 kilometers from Maragogi, about a 20-minute drive. You can cycle there at low tide, exploring the region's beaches: Bitingui Beach, Barreiras do Boqueirão (with several beachfront restaurants), Boqueirão (more deserted), and Pontal, where the beach meets the Manguaba River.
The interesting thing about walking through Japaratinga is that the routes end up becoming the destinations.And there are several viewpoints to see the beautiful view from above.

São Bento is a village in Maragogi known for its "bolo de goma," a handmade biscuit made with coconut. It's common to see local children playing, or people searching for shellfish on the beach.
For tourists, the so-called Crôa de São Bento is a place with coral formations and clear waters where you can do excellent diving, and it is not usually crowded.
Despite its simplicity, the place is ideal for those seeking tranquility. Along the shore there are a few restaurants and stretches with few people and no shops.

They create bags, wallets, placemats, towels, lampshades, and many other decorative and kitchen items. Another wonderful place to discover, about 17 kilometers from the center of Maragogi.
