ART FACTORY

The former Santa Terezinha sugar mill has given way to an artistic, botanical, and educational park, leading to a new form of environmental, economic, and cultural occupation in the Zona da Mata region of Pernambuco.

Through the combination of an open-air contemporary art museum set amidst a botanical garden, Usina de Arte has been, since 2015, an instrument of education, culture, environmental resilience, entrepreneurship, and self-esteem in the village of Santa Terezinha.
