Exhibition "Desire and Cities" by artist George Barbosa
During the Republic Proclamation holiday weekend, Closed package from November 14th to 17th, 2019the Hotel Areias Belas
will hold its first exhibition of visual arts, with the guest artist George BarbosaGeorge, a self-taught draftsman and painter since 1979, was born in Recife, Pernambuco, and has participated in numerous group and solo exhibitions. He received a painting award from the Pernambuco State Museum and a drawing award from the MAC, the Museum of Contemporary Art of Olinda. George has always been fascinated by painting urban landscapes, beaches, gardens, or the daily life of the city, gifting us with his poetic and passionate perspective. Colors and textures are strong points in his paintings.
The exhibition “Desire and Cities”, in
Hotel Areias Belas, will feature previously unseen works and the presence of the artist.
